Bertaubat Setelah Kaki MembusukAkuIslam.ID - Menurut Ariman, sudah tak terhitung dirinya pergi ke dokter. Tapi hasilnya tetap nihil. Ada apa sejatinya dengan Ariman? Kenapa penyakitnya tidak kunjung sembuh?
Sejak lulus SMA di jambi, Ariman, warga Desa Batanghari ini pergi merantau ke Balikpapan, Kalimantan Selatan. Di kota minyak ini, karena tak mempunyai pengalaman sedikit pun, Ariman rela bekerja sebagai pelayan di sebuah rumah makan Padang.
Tak lama bekerja di rumah makan pinggir jalan itu, pria yang hingga kini belum menikah itu melamar di perusahaan catering. Nasib baik rupanya berpihak para Ariman. Dia diterima bekerja di sana. Kali pertama bekerja, Ariman ditempatkan di sebuah pertambangan batu bara di Kota Baru, Pulau Laut, Kalimantan Selatan.
Sayangnya, baru bekerja beberapa bulan, Ariman tidak dipakai lagi oleh perusahaan catering, karena itu uang hasil jerih payahnya selama di perusahaan catering dibelikan sebuah sepeda motor butut dan digunakan untuk menarik ojek.
Sejak menjalani profesi sebagai tukang ojek, Ariman memilih tinggal di luar Balikpapan. Pria ini hijrah ke Dusun Gunung Lampu, Kelurahan Amborawang, kecamatan Samboja, Kutai Kartangeara. Karena di tempat barunya dia tak memiliki sanak saudara, dia kemudian menumpang di rumah salah seorang warga setempat bernama Jamaludin.
Karena sama-sama dari Sumatera. Ariman berasal dari Jambi, sedang Jamaludin berasal dari Padang. Maka sejak saat itu, Ariman sangat akrab dengan Jamaludin. bahkan sudah dianggap seperti keluarga sendiri.
Tak hanya itu, dari sisi ekonomi Jamaludin lebih mampu. Untuk makan sehari-hari Ariman tak perlu membayar kepada Jamaludin yang memiliki usaha warung dan toko kecil-kecilan ini. Dengan begitu, selama menjadi tukang ojek yang melayani rute Gunung Lampu-Argosari yang merupakan perkampungan eks tahanan politik, sedikit demi sedikit Ariman bisa menabung. Apalagi, hasil jerih payahnya sebagai tukang ojek, paling-paling hanya berkurang untuk membeli rokok saja.
Rupanya, melihat kesuksesan Jamaludin dalam berdagang, salah seorang tetangganya, yakni Rahardi, berminat juga membuka warung dan toko. Tak lama, Rahardi benar-benar membuka toko plus warung makan. padahal, antara rumah Jamaludin dan Rahardi tak jauh jaraknya. Dengan begitu, di daerah yang sebenarnya sepi ini, terdapat dua warung.
Hanya dalam hitungan bulan, usaha Rahardi berkembang pesat mengungguli Jamaludin. Sementara, usaha Jamaludin kemudian justru mulai kembang-kemping. Hal inilah yang tak disukai Jamaludin. Sebagai manusia biasa timbul rasa iri dan dengki, terhadap keberhasilan Rahardi.
Hingga pada suatu malam, saat duduk berdua dengan Ariman, dia mengutarakan isi hatinya kepada sahabatnya. Selain curhat masalah toko dan warungnya yang kian sepi karena di dekatnya mulai ada pesaing, Jamaludin pun menyampaikan ide gila.
Intinya, Jamaludin meminta bantuan Ariman agar mencarikan seorang dukun yang bisa menghambat laju usaha Rahardi. Bahkan kalau bisa, mencari dukun yang mampu mematikan usaha tetangganya itu.
Esok harinya, setelah pembicaraan empat mata dengan Jamaludin, Ariman langsung menuju Tenggarong, Kutai. Di kota ini, sebenarnya Ariman juga buta di mana dia harus mencari dukun yang mampu dimintai tolong seperti permintaan rekannya. Namun, atas saran atau petunjuk tukang ojek sahabatnya, akhirnya Ariman mendapat petunjuk dimana rumah dukung yang dimaksud.
Setelah bertemu dengan dukun yang dimaksud. Ariman langsung mengutarakan niatnya. Hanya dengan beberapa lembar uang pecahan lima puluh ribu, dukun itu menyanggupi permintaan pasiennya. Setelah diberi syarat plus mantra oleh dukun yang didatanginya, Ariman pun langsung pulang.
Sesampainya di rumah, benda pemberian dukun berupa batu kecil itu langsung diserahkan kepada Jamaludin. Atas saran sang dukun seperti yang disampaikan kepada Ariman, malam harinya benda itu langsung ditanam oleh Jamaludin di kolong rumah Rahardi. Sekedar diketahui, rata-rata rumah warga di mana Jamaludin tinggal memang merupakan rumah panggung.
Hal inilah yang membuat dengan mudahnya Jamaludin menanam benda yang dimaksud di area rumah Rahardi.
Satu hari, dua hari, hingga satu minggu berselang, tak ada tanda-tadna kebangkrutan Rahardi. Hal ini semakin membuat Jamaludin penasaran. Bahkan, toko serta warung nasi Rahardi kian banyak dikunjungi orang.
Karena merasa dukun dari Tenggarong tidak mempan, Jamaludin kemudian meminta bantuan kepada Ariman untuk mencarikan dukun yang lebih sakti. Lagi-lagi karena merasa berutang budi. Ariman pun menyanggupi permintaan Jamaludin.
Esoknya, Ariman langsung mencari dukun di Wilayah Gunung Tembak, Balikpapan. Setelah bertanya kesana-kemari, akhirnya rumah sang dukun yang dimaksud berhasil ditemukan. Tanpa basa-basi, Ariman langsung mengutarakan niatnya. Bahkan karena trauma dengan dukun sebelumnya Ariman meminta kepada dukun kedua yang didatanginya agar membuat sarana yang jos alias cespleng (sangat manjur).
Rupanya, keinginan Ariman atas permintaan sahabatnya itu tak bertepuk sebelah tangan. Pasalnya, dukun yang didatanginya sanggup membuat piranti agar usaha Rahardi benar-benar bangkrut total. Bahkan, sang dukun juga menjanjikan dalam waktu yang dekat, tak hanya usahanya yang bangkrut, tapi Rahardi juga akan segera hengkang dari rumahnya.
Merasa mendapat jaminan dari sang dukun, setelah tiba di rumah Jamaludin, dengan bangga Ariman menyerahkan piranti dari sang dukun kepada sahabatnya. Sama seperti dukun sebelumnya, sang dukun juga memerintahkan agar piranti itu ditanam di kolong rumah Rahardi.
Malam harinya, piranti yang dibungkus kain kafan putih itu oleh Jamaludin ditanam dikolong rumah pesaingnya dengan cara mengendap-endap. Pikirnnya, setelah menanam benda itu dalam waktu dekat, Rahardi pasti akan mengalami kebangkrutan dan seterusnya akan pulang kampung ke Pulau Jawa.
Rupanya, dugaan Jamaludin meleset. Terbukti, setelah ditunggu hingga satu bulan lamanya, usaha Rahardi masih tetap seperti biasanya. Tetap saja banyak pembeli. Bahkan, kian pesat saja omset penjualannya.
Karena usaha keduanya gagal, Jamaludin kembali meminta bantuan kepada Ariman. Bahkan, permintaan Jamaludin kepada sahabatnya saat itu justru lebih ekstrim dan mengerikan. ya, Jamaludin meminta Ariman mencarikan dukun santet untuk melenyapkan Rahardi.
Namun Ariman tak berani menyanggupi permintaan yang berlebihan itu. Tapi, dia berjanji akan mencarikan dukun sakti dari Tanah Jawa.
Dan lagi-lagi demi seorang sahabat pada suatu ketika Ariman menghubungi salah seorang temannya di Pulau Jawa. Intinya, Ariman meminta bantuan temannya agar dicarikan dukun yang bisa mematikan usaha seseorang. Selang satu minggu kemudian, temannya itu menghubungi Ariman dan mengatakan jika dukun yang dimaksud telah didapatkan.
Syaratnya, harus menjalani lelaku sendiri. Setelah diberitahu berbagai syarat ritualnya, yaitu harus berpuasa satu hari serta mencuri batu nisan di kuburan, lalu ditanam di jalaman rumah orang yang dituju, maka malam harinya, ketika istri Jamaludin sudah tertidur pulas, Ariman langsung memberitahukan syarat itu kepada sahabatnya.
Rupanya, Jamaludin tidak sanggup untuk berpuasa satu hari pun. Ketika bulan Ramadhan tiba, dimana seluruh umat Islam berbondong-bondong meraih berkah Bulan Suci, lelaki bertubuh tambun ini hanya pura-pura saja menjalankan puasanya di depan keluarga dan orang-orang sekitarnya.
Oleh karena itu, dengan penuh harap, Jamaludin meminta kepada Ariman untuk melakukan hal itu. Dan lagi-lagi, karena merasa berutang budi, akhirnya lelaki bujangan berkulit hitam ini pun menyanggupi permintaan sahabatnya.
Meski permintaan Jamaludin yang ketiga kalinya itu dirasa cukup berat bagi Ariman, bukan persoalan puasanya, melainkan harus mencuri batu nisan. Lebih-lebih saat mencuri batu nisan tidak boleh dicabut dengan menggunakan tangan. Tapi harus dicabut dengan kaki.
Baru setelah batu nisan tercabut dengan kaki, selanjutnya bisa diambil dengan tangannya. Meski dirasa berat, namun tetap saja permintaan sahabatnya itu dilaksanakan juga oleh Ariman.
Setelah menjalani puasa selama satu hari, malamnya, dengan diantar Jamaludin, Ariman menuju sebuah pemakaman umum Dusun Argosari yang merupakan pemakaman umum eks tahanan politik dan keluarganya yang masuk dalam wilayah kelurahan Amborawang.
Pemakaman umum ini sengaja dipilih karena letaknya jauh dari pemukiman warga eks tapol.
Sekitar pukul 01.00 WITA, Ariman dan Jamaludin mengendarai sepeda motor menuju pemakaman umum. Begitu tiba di pemakaman yang dimaksud, Ariman langsung memilih makam yang tampak masih baru. Pasalnya, di batu nisan tersebut, tak tercantum nama orang yang meninggal.
Setelah terlebih terlebih dahulu membaca mantera seperti yang disarankan oleh sang dukun, dengan tubuh sedikit gemetar, kakinya langsung ditempelkan pada batu nisan. Karena pemakaman itu tanahnya berpasir, hanya sekali hentakan, batu nisan yang ditanam tidak terlalu dalam itu langsung roboh. Dengan sedikit tergesa-gesa, Ariman segera membungkus batu itu dengan karung yang telah dibawanya.
Selanjutnya, kedua orang ini langsung tancap gas menuju rumah. Dan agar tidak ada yang curiga, sekitar 100 meter sebelum tiba di rumah, Jamaludin sengaja mematikan sepeda motornya. Kemudian kendaraan roda dua ini dituntun perlahan.
Malam itu juga, sekitar pukul 03.00, Jamaludin dengan ditemani oleh Ariman, mengendap-endap di bawah kolong rumah Rahardi. Setelah dirasa cukup aman, keduanya langsung menanam batu nisah curiannya di bawah kolong rumah Rahardi. Esok harinya, seperti tak pernah terjadi apa-apa. Ariman kembali ngojek seperti biasanya.
Rupanya, saran yang didapat Ariman dari dukun asal Jawa dengan perantara temannya itu cukup manjut. Ini terbukti, hanya berselang tak lebih satu minggu, Usaha Rahardi, baik itu toko maupun warungnya langsung sepi pembeli.
Para pembeli hampir semuanya beralih ke warung Jamaludin. Atas hasil ini, Jamaludin kian memanjakan Ariman. Tak hanya makan yang diberikan Jamaludin, bahkan tak jarang, Ariman juga diberi rokok.
"Pokoknya, setelah usaha Rahardi mulai mengalami kemunduran, saya benar-benar dimanjakan oleh Bang Jamal. Mulai makan, rokok, semuanya gratis. Bahkan ketika motor saya rusak dan ngojek pakai motor dia Bang Jamal tidak mau menerima uangnya. Karena kebiasaan kalau saya memakai motor miliknya, hasil dari mengojek langsung dibagi dua," kenang Ariman.
Hingga pada suatu ketika, Ariman harus pulang ke Jambi. Sejak saat itu, hubungan keduanya secara langsung terputus. Namun, sesekali waktu, Ariman menyempatkan diri menelpon atau kirim SMS kepada Jamaludin. Tapi, setelah satu tahun di Jambi, Ariman tidak lagi mengontak sahabatnya itu. Dengan begitu, sejak Ariman tidak lagi menelpon atau kirim SMS, hubungan keduanya putus total.
Sejak terputusnya hubungan persahabatan dengan Jamaludin, hal-hal aneh mulai terjadi pada diri Ariman. Pada suatu hari, telapak kakinya terdapat sebuah bintik kemerah-merahan. Karena merasa gatal, kemudian bintik itu digaruk hingga mengoreng.
Saat itu Ariman tidak memperhatikan luka kecil bekas garukannya. Apalagi, rasanya tidaklah sakit. Namun semakin lama luka kecil itu makin membesar. Tapi meski begitu, tetap saja Ariman tidak merasakan sakit sedikit pun.
Karena merasa penasaran dengan penyakit anehnya, Ariman mendatangi seorang dokter. Karena diagnosa dokter hanya luka infeksi, dokter pun memberikan resep antibiotik.
Tapi, setelah obat yang dibelinya dari apotek habis, luka pada kakinya tak kunjung sembuh. begitu juga saat dirinya kembali diberi resep oleh dokter dengan antibiotik dosis tinggi, hasilnya tetap sama. Tetap saja tak menunjukkan adanya tanda-tanda kesembuhan.
Menurut Ariman, sudah tak terhitung dirinya pergi ke dokter. Tapi hasilnya tetap nihil. Karena itulah, saat berkunjung ke rumah saudaranya di Bandar Lampung beberapa waktu lalu, atas saran dari keluarganya, Ariman kemudian diantar ke klinik laboratorium.
Saat sebelum diperiksa oleh petugas medis itu para petugas mengirajika Ariman terkena penyakit diabetes atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan kencing manis. Selain itu, hasil test juga tidak menunjukkan adanya tanda-tanda infeksi. Hal inilah yang membuat Ariman bingung setengah mati.
Barulah setelah merenung akan penyakitnya yang sudah berlangsung lama dan tak kunjung sembuh itu, Ariman teringat akan perbuatannya saat berada di Kalimantan. Dirinya langsung berpikir, penyakit anehnya itu pasti ada sangkut-pautnya dengan perbuatan yang telah dilakukannya demi ambisi gila sahabatnya.
Karena itu, Ariman langsung mencari orang pintar untuk mencari jalan keluarnya. Hingga akhirnya, atas saran dari keluarganya Ariman mendatangi orang pintar yang ternyata seorang kyai di Wilayah Kalianda, Lampung Selatan. Dan dugaannya ternyata benar.
Dari keterangan Kyai Tabrani yang didatanginya. Ariman mendapatkan peljelasan jika penyakit yang dideritanya itu memang berawal dari perbuatannya saat masih tinggal merantau di Kalimantan. Beruntung, Kyai Tabrani sanggup mengobati penyakit aneh yang dideritanya. Namun, ada beberapa syarat yang harus dilakukan Ariman, yaitu memohon ampun kepada Allah dengan membaca istigfar sebanyak-banyaknya setiap hari.
Kini, berangsur-angsur luka aneh yang membusuk pada kakinya mulai membaik. Namun, meski begitu tetap saja ada rasa khawatir pada diri Ariman jika sewaktu-waktu luka itu kembali kambuh, karena luka itu belum benar-benar sembuh 100%.
"Sekarang saya benar-benar bertaubat. Kalau nanti saya punya uang, saya akan berangkat ke Kalimantan dan meminta maaf kepada arwah pemilik batu nisan yang telah saya curi, sekaligus mengganti batu nisannya secara diam-diam. Yah, mudah-mudahan saja luka di kaki saya bisa sembuh total selamanya. Dengan begitu saya bisa mengerjakan sholat lima waktu dan menjadi orang baik kembali." Tandas Ariman dengan penuh penyesalan.

Rupanya, Jamaludin tidak sanggup untuk berpuasa satu hari pun. Ketika bulan Ramadhan tiba, dimana seluruh umat Islam berbondong-bondong meraih berkah Bulan Suci, lelaki bertubuh tambun ini hanya pura-pura saja menjalankan puasanya di depan keluarga dan orang-orang sekitarnya.
Oleh karena itu, dengan penuh harap, Jamaludin meminta kepada Ariman untuk melakukan hal itu. Dan lagi-lagi, karena merasa berutang budi, akhirnya lelaki bujangan berkulit hitam ini pun menyanggupi permintaan sahabatnya.
Meski permintaan Jamaludin yang ketiga kalinya itu dirasa cukup berat bagi Ariman, bukan persoalan puasanya, melainkan harus mencuri batu nisan. Lebih-lebih saat mencuri batu nisan tidak boleh dicabut dengan menggunakan tangan. Tapi harus dicabut dengan kaki.
Baru setelah batu nisan tercabut dengan kaki, selanjutnya bisa diambil dengan tangannya. Meski dirasa berat, namun tetap saja permintaan sahabatnya itu dilaksanakan juga oleh Ariman.
Setelah menjalani puasa selama satu hari, malamnya, dengan diantar Jamaludin, Ariman menuju sebuah pemakaman umum Dusun Argosari yang merupakan pemakaman umum eks tahanan politik dan keluarganya yang masuk dalam wilayah kelurahan Amborawang.
Pemakaman umum ini sengaja dipilih karena letaknya jauh dari pemukiman warga eks tapol.
Sekitar pukul 01.00 WITA, Ariman dan Jamaludin mengendarai sepeda motor menuju pemakaman umum. Begitu tiba di pemakaman yang dimaksud, Ariman langsung memilih makam yang tampak masih baru. Pasalnya, di batu nisan tersebut, tak tercantum nama orang yang meninggal.
Setelah terlebih terlebih dahulu membaca mantera seperti yang disarankan oleh sang dukun, dengan tubuh sedikit gemetar, kakinya langsung ditempelkan pada batu nisan. Karena pemakaman itu tanahnya berpasir, hanya sekali hentakan, batu nisan yang ditanam tidak terlalu dalam itu langsung roboh. Dengan sedikit tergesa-gesa, Ariman segera membungkus batu itu dengan karung yang telah dibawanya.
Selanjutnya, kedua orang ini langsung tancap gas menuju rumah. Dan agar tidak ada yang curiga, sekitar 100 meter sebelum tiba di rumah, Jamaludin sengaja mematikan sepeda motornya. Kemudian kendaraan roda dua ini dituntun perlahan.
Malam itu juga, sekitar pukul 03.00, Jamaludin dengan ditemani oleh Ariman, mengendap-endap di bawah kolong rumah Rahardi. Setelah dirasa cukup aman, keduanya langsung menanam batu nisah curiannya di bawah kolong rumah Rahardi. Esok harinya, seperti tak pernah terjadi apa-apa. Ariman kembali ngojek seperti biasanya.
Rupanya, saran yang didapat Ariman dari dukun asal Jawa dengan perantara temannya itu cukup manjut. Ini terbukti, hanya berselang tak lebih satu minggu, Usaha Rahardi, baik itu toko maupun warungnya langsung sepi pembeli.
Para pembeli hampir semuanya beralih ke warung Jamaludin. Atas hasil ini, Jamaludin kian memanjakan Ariman. Tak hanya makan yang diberikan Jamaludin, bahkan tak jarang, Ariman juga diberi rokok.
"Pokoknya, setelah usaha Rahardi mulai mengalami kemunduran, saya benar-benar dimanjakan oleh Bang Jamal. Mulai makan, rokok, semuanya gratis. Bahkan ketika motor saya rusak dan ngojek pakai motor dia Bang Jamal tidak mau menerima uangnya. Karena kebiasaan kalau saya memakai motor miliknya, hasil dari mengojek langsung dibagi dua," kenang Ariman.
Hingga pada suatu ketika, Ariman harus pulang ke Jambi. Sejak saat itu, hubungan keduanya secara langsung terputus. Namun, sesekali waktu, Ariman menyempatkan diri menelpon atau kirim SMS kepada Jamaludin. Tapi, setelah satu tahun di Jambi, Ariman tidak lagi mengontak sahabatnya itu. Dengan begitu, sejak Ariman tidak lagi menelpon atau kirim SMS, hubungan keduanya putus total.
Sejak terputusnya hubungan persahabatan dengan Jamaludin, hal-hal aneh mulai terjadi pada diri Ariman. Pada suatu hari, telapak kakinya terdapat sebuah bintik kemerah-merahan. Karena merasa gatal, kemudian bintik itu digaruk hingga mengoreng.
Saat itu Ariman tidak memperhatikan luka kecil bekas garukannya. Apalagi, rasanya tidaklah sakit. Namun semakin lama luka kecil itu makin membesar. Tapi meski begitu, tetap saja Ariman tidak merasakan sakit sedikit pun.
Karena merasa penasaran dengan penyakit anehnya, Ariman mendatangi seorang dokter. Karena diagnosa dokter hanya luka infeksi, dokter pun memberikan resep antibiotik.
Tapi, setelah obat yang dibelinya dari apotek habis, luka pada kakinya tak kunjung sembuh. begitu juga saat dirinya kembali diberi resep oleh dokter dengan antibiotik dosis tinggi, hasilnya tetap sama. Tetap saja tak menunjukkan adanya tanda-tanda kesembuhan.
Menurut Ariman, sudah tak terhitung dirinya pergi ke dokter. Tapi hasilnya tetap nihil. Karena itulah, saat berkunjung ke rumah saudaranya di Bandar Lampung beberapa waktu lalu, atas saran dari keluarganya, Ariman kemudian diantar ke klinik laboratorium.
Saat sebelum diperiksa oleh petugas medis itu para petugas mengirajika Ariman terkena penyakit diabetes atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan kencing manis. Selain itu, hasil test juga tidak menunjukkan adanya tanda-tanda infeksi. Hal inilah yang membuat Ariman bingung setengah mati.
Barulah setelah merenung akan penyakitnya yang sudah berlangsung lama dan tak kunjung sembuh itu, Ariman teringat akan perbuatannya saat berada di Kalimantan. Dirinya langsung berpikir, penyakit anehnya itu pasti ada sangkut-pautnya dengan perbuatan yang telah dilakukannya demi ambisi gila sahabatnya.
Karena itu, Ariman langsung mencari orang pintar untuk mencari jalan keluarnya. Hingga akhirnya, atas saran dari keluarganya Ariman mendatangi orang pintar yang ternyata seorang kyai di Wilayah Kalianda, Lampung Selatan. Dan dugaannya ternyata benar.
Dari keterangan Kyai Tabrani yang didatanginya. Ariman mendapatkan peljelasan jika penyakit yang dideritanya itu memang berawal dari perbuatannya saat masih tinggal merantau di Kalimantan. Beruntung, Kyai Tabrani sanggup mengobati penyakit aneh yang dideritanya. Namun, ada beberapa syarat yang harus dilakukan Ariman, yaitu memohon ampun kepada Allah dengan membaca istigfar sebanyak-banyaknya setiap hari.
Kini, berangsur-angsur luka aneh yang membusuk pada kakinya mulai membaik. Namun, meski begitu tetap saja ada rasa khawatir pada diri Ariman jika sewaktu-waktu luka itu kembali kambuh, karena luka itu belum benar-benar sembuh 100%.
"Sekarang saya benar-benar bertaubat. Kalau nanti saya punya uang, saya akan berangkat ke Kalimantan dan meminta maaf kepada arwah pemilik batu nisan yang telah saya curi, sekaligus mengganti batu nisannya secara diam-diam. Yah, mudah-mudahan saja luka di kaki saya bisa sembuh total selamanya. Dengan begitu saya bisa mengerjakan sholat lima waktu dan menjadi orang baik kembali." Tandas Ariman dengan penuh penyesalan.
